Book Week Scotland in Ben Lawers
Book Week Scotland has been a roaring success for Ben Lawers Clan! This week, the class embraced their love for reading by diving into their favorite books and bringing them to life in creative and exciting ways.
From designing fact files about their beloved characters to crafting colourful posters showcasing book covers, the students have shown just how much imagination and effort they can pour into their projects. It was wonderful to see their faces light up as they shared why certain books meant so much to them.
The fun didn’t stop there! The class got into the spirit of storytelling by dressing up as their favorite book characters. The classroom was transformed into a parade of heroes, villains, and magical creatures, creating an atmosphere of pure joy. Who knew you’d find Harry Potter chatting with Matilda or Paddington Bear sharing snacks with the Gruffalo?
To top it all off, Ben Lawers Clan created quizzes for their classmates. Testing each other’s knowledge on plots, characters, and authors, they turned reading into a friendly competition. It was a fantastic way to celebrate stories while learning from one another.
Book Week Scotland is about more than just books; it’s about inspiring a lifelong love of reading. Ben Lawers Clan has certainly shown how books can fuel creativity, bring people together, and, most importantly, be so much fun!
Families, don’t forget to ask your child about their favorite part of the week and what book they’d recommend to you—you might discover a new favorite for yourself!
