Burns Clan Charter 26-27

This week, we created our Burns Clan Charter by learning about the UNCRC and choosing the children’s rights that are most important to our class family. We selected Article 29, which says that education should help children develop their talents, abilities and respect for others, and Article 31, which gives every child the right to relax, play and take part in cultural activities. We discussed how we, as rights holders, and the adults, as duty bearers, will work together to respect and uphold these rights throughout the school year. To bring our charter to life, we chose a ‘Costawood’ theme for our display, representing the meaningful conversations we share together over a cup of coffee or an iced frappĂ©!
