Rannoch Class Charter: Our Class is a Family

During the first few weeks of school, Rannoch Clan created our Class Charter, inspired by the wonderful book Our Class is a Family by Shannon Olsen. The story encouraged us to think about what it means to belong, support one another, and work together as a team.

As a class, we explored the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and discussed the rights that are important to us at school. We learned that every child has the right to feel safe, respected, included, and listened to. Together, we identified the promises and responsibilities that will help us uphold and protect these rights each day.

To bring our charter to life, we created a special Polaroid photo wall. Each pupil designed their own Polaroid picture, and together they form a vibrant display that celebrates our individuality while showing that we all belong to one class family. The display reminds us that every person matters, every voice is valued, and we are stronger when we support one another.

Our Class Charter will guide us throughout the year as we learn, grow, and create lasting memories together. We are proud of the caring, respectful, and inclusive classroom community we have built, and we look forward to bringing our charter to life every day.

In Rannoch, our class is a family! ❤
